Man on the Moon - Kid Cudi
Name another album that helped an entire generation learn to deal with their emotions. I'll wait.
Name another album that has an hour plus of sing along tunes and beats that slap. I'll wait.
Name another album where every single song has made it on the billboard charts by itself. I'll wait.
Name another album where every song comes together to tell a story with meaning and content. I'll wait.
Name another album where the lead single changes how rap is executed from then on. I'll wait.
Now name an album that does all of these. There's only one. It's Man on the Moon. This is the precursor to todays trap style. Harmonizing to a beat, making your own voice an instrument instead of just words. Kid Cudi outdid himself on this one and I urge you to listen to it if you haven't yet. And if you dont agree with me and are not convinced, here is Billboard's take on the album.
